Hurtubise, Jacques
(1939-)Jacques Hurtubise was born in Montreal on february 28, 1939. He studied at Ecole des Beaux-Arts de Montréal under Albert Dumouchel and Jacques DE Tonnancour (1956-1960). The Montreal Museum of Fine arts held in 1961 the first exhibition of his paintings.He held two exhibitions in 1962 and 1963 at Galerie Delrue .He held another exhibition in 1964 at Galerie du Siècle in Quebec city. Biennial exhibition at Sao Paulo in 1965 and 1967. Public collections : Musée d'Art Contemporain de Montréal, Musée National des Beaux-Arts du Canada. Prix Paul-Emile Borduas 2000. Rare painting from the sixties.Provenance Galerie du Siècle:painting in excellent condition.
